Michelle TeBrake

Michelle Tebrake is a Virtuous Woman with a deep desire to meet the needs of those less fortunate. The world is full of injustice and poverty and she wants to make a difference.

Michelle has personally made a substantial contribution to Ngatha International. She has donated the financial support necessary to make this website a reality. A portion of all her profits goes to Ngatha International and other non profit organizations that have a positive impact on the world. In spending your hard earned dollar at her business, you're guaranteed that you'll be helping those less fortunate have a better life.

Over the years the question has been asked of me, "What are we all here for?" To that I simply answer, "To give unselfishly without expecting anything in return." That's what I believe will make a difference.

MONICA VILLARS is a teacher at the Willmar Area Learning Center in Willmar, MN.  Villars is a strong advocate for youth and a non-stop crusader for Ngatha International.  During the 2006/2007 school year, she and her students planned and implemented a fundraiser to collect Beanie Babies, sporting equipment, clothing, blankets and other items on behalf of the Ngatha International Childrens Homestead and Learning Center in Ngamini Village, Kenya.  They did it again for the 2007/2008 school year and collected more than 700 pairs of shoes and socks, plus more quilts (handmade by the students), bicycles, wagons and a whole lot more!

Monica sponsors little Lokwa at the Ngatha Childrens' Homestead and he has become her muse of sorts.  In addition to being a teacher, Villars is also an accomplished fiber artist.  She has created pencil drawings of Lokwa that have been turned into beautiful pieces of art. She has created a "Cards for Kids" campaign, as well.  The cards and postcards of Lokwa, as well as other subjects including a young African woman are for sale. A percentage of the profits are donated to Ngatha International.

Villars is also a co-founder of DEMO inc., a funky, oh-so-inspiring rural art center located in a historical building (formerly the Svea Schoolhouse) with a special passion for engaging at-risk youth in the arts and community.

ROBIN MAGEE  is an assocIate professor at  Hamline University School of Law, in St. Paul, MN.  Robin has given two very generous donations to Ngatha International to date. Her most recent contribution came with a charming notecard. The cover said "Good Night - Sleep Tight".  How did she know that we often can't help but stir in our sleep knowing that 8000 miles away, dozens of precious children are depending our care?  On the inside of the card was a hand written note that seems to sum up this strong woman's faith and motivation...

"God laid this contribution on my heart.  I hope it helps - that it operates like the fish and loaves of bread and offers multiple benefits.  I will pray for your peace, prosperity and success."

DONNA STAI is the owner of three Waite Park, MN businesses; Chader Business Equipment, Chader Leasing Corp. and Ace Storage.  She has a history of showing her generosity with groups and organizations with which she has worked.  Being a strong advocate and giving of her time and talents have been Donna’s way of giving back to the community.

NGATHA International is the beneficiary of Donna’s generosity in two different ways.  One through the donation of a storage space used to hold clothing, house hold goods, and other useful items before shipping, and also through the printing of brochures, flyers and fundraising material.  NGATHA International’s desire to provide for the women and children of the Ngamini Village is a way Donna has found she can contribute to the global community.
