Caroline’s single, jobless mother died due to HIV/AIDS. Before coming to live and learn at Ngatha, she and her little sister, Damaris Wambui lived with other younger siblings in her grandma’s house. The grandma is old and ailing with no income.
She takes care of the children of her other daughter who is also dead due to HIV/AIDS. Hunger prevented them from attending school at times. She wants to be a teacher when she grows up so that she can change many lives. |
